Armoires

An armoire, from the French for “armaire”, was originally a tall, movable cabinet used for storing and transporting weapons. By the 17^th and 18^th centuries, they were considered to be a fashionable accessory, in high society, as a wardrobe chest for hanging clothing. I have rebuilt, repurposed, and redesigned many antique armoires into more useful cabinets with drawers and shelves, and even TV/entertainment centers. I can transform your antique armoire or design and build a custom one, such as this example in cherry, totally customized to fit your personal specifications.
